Why training matters

A device is only as good as the hands operating it. Structured, device-specific training protects your business in three ways.

Clinical outcomes

Correct parameter selection, energy settings and treatment protocols for each skin type and indication.

Patient safety

Contraindication screening, adverse-event management and consent best practice.

Commercial confidence

Insurers, indemnity carriers and regulators increasingly ask for documented operator competency before a device goes into use.

Three programme tiers

Every tier is mapped to the exact model you have purchased — HIFU, diode laser, CO2 fractional, picosecond, RF microneedling, EMS body sculpting, pelvic floor rehabilitation and related systems.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to take the training to buy a device?

No. Training is optional. Tier 1 online training is included free with every machine, so no client is ever left unsupported.

Is this a regulated or accredited qualification?

Training is delivered by an independent regional training provider. [Confirm accreditation / CE credit status.] It is a device-specific competency certificate, not a licence to practise. You remain responsible for meeting the licensing, supervision and insurance requirements that apply where you practise.

Who is legally allowed to operate the device?

This varies by jurisdiction. In the UK, many councils require a Special Treatments Licence and Scotland operates its own scheme. In the US, scope of practice varies significantly by state — some restrict energy-based devices to physicians or require direct supervision, others permit delegation under a medical director, and a few require separate laser operator registration. We flag the general framework during training; confirm current requirements with your local authority, state board or attorney.

Will our insurer accept this certificate?

Most aesthetic indemnity providers and malpractice carriers require device-specific training evidence, and our certificate is written to satisfy that: named delegate, dated, and stating the exact model. We recommend confirming acceptance with your broker or carrier before booking.

Can you train staff who join later?

Yes. Additional delegates can be trained at any time, either by joining a scheduled online session or by booking a top-up visit.

We already own a similar device — can we skip to Tier 2?

Yes. Experienced operators can go straight to the practical tier. Tell us your background when booking.

Who do we contact for technical support after training?

Technical and warranty support remains with Jestheticmed. Clinical and protocol questions can be raised with your training partner for 90 days after your session.
