EPM · Electroporation + Microcrystal

Needle-Free Transdermal Delivery, Face & Scalp

MesoSkin combines low-intensity electroporation with a laser-machined microcrystal array to open temporary hydrophilic channels in the stratum corneum — allowing serums to pass into the skin without a needle, without bleeding, and without downtime. One console, two interchangeable tips.

How it works

Two mechanisms, working together

The skin barrier is built to keep things out. The stratum corneum is lipophilic and selectively permeable, which is why most topically applied actives never reach the layers where they would do anything. MesoSkin addresses this from two directions at once.

Microcrystal array

A base-mounted array of micron-scale crystals briefly opens the barrier function of the stratum corneum, creating micro-channels without reaching nerves or blood vessels — no pain, no bleeding. Hollow crystals at the centre of the array carry the serum, so delivery is even across every contact point.

Electroporation

A transient electrical field forms temporary, reversible aqueous channels in the cell membrane's lipid bilayer. Hydrophilic molecules that cannot otherwise cross the barrier are able to enter. Because the microcrystal array first lowers skin impedance, MesoSkin achieves this at low field intensity — avoiding the irreversible damage risk associated with conventional high-intensity electroporation.

Compared to conventional delivery

Where EPM sits

Method Trade-off
Derma roller Low cost and adjustable depth, but bleeding, pain, operator-dependent technique, and infection risk.
Injector gun Precise dose and depth with immediate visible effect — but invasive, painful, with post-treatment reactions.
Conventional microcrystal Painless and no infection risk, suited to large molecules — but the delivered volume cannot be precisely controlled.
EPM (MesoSkin) Painless, no infection risk, laser-machined micro-channels give controllable output volume, and microcrystal + electroporation delivery run simultaneously.
Consumables

Two tips, one console

The microcrystal tip is a single-use consumable and must not be reused. Both tips fit the same handpiece — switch between facial and scalp protocols on the same machine.

Operation

Cleanse the treatment area thoroughly and remove all make-up before starting.

Fit a fresh single-use microcrystal tip and load the syringe with your chosen serum.

Hold the handpiece perpendicular to the skin and work in a stamping motion so the tip makes full contact.

For scalp work, part the hair with two fingers or a tail comb to expose the scalp fully.

Switch to cavity mode to draw in any serum left sitting on the skin surface.

Reduce contact degree over the eyelids, jawline, and other thin or sensitive areas.

Typical session: 5 ml of serum over 15–25 minutes, with a full treatment under 45 minutes.

Recommended aftercare: hydrating mist, a sheet mask daily for the following week, and sun protection for seven days.
